Getting Started & Booking
-
Complete our online Request Pet Care form and tell us about your pets, their routines, and the services you need. Barking Beau’s will review your request, confirm availability, and contact you about the next steps. New clients must complete a meet-and-greet before their first service.
-
Yes. We require a meet-and-greet before caring for any new pet. This gives us an opportunity to meet you and your pets, review their routines and care instructions, discuss home access, and make sure we’re a good fit. Additional meet-and-greets may be required if you add a new pet or your pet’s care needs change significantly.
-
Yes. Barking Beau’s is insured and bonded, and our caregivers are trained in Pet First Aid and CPR. These preparations support safer, more dependable pet care, but they do not replace treatment from a licensed veterinarian.
-
If we agree that Barking Beau’s is the right fit, we’ll finalize your Time To Pet profile and send an itemized invoice for the requested services. You’ll have at least 24 hours to review the invoice and request any corrections. After payment is successfully processed, we’ll confirm your booking in writing.
-
Before services begin, complete your Time To Pet client and pet profiles with current care instructions, feeding details, medications, health and behavior information, veterinary contacts, emergency authorization, and home-access instructions. Please leave all necessary supplies in an easy-to-find location.
-
We recommend requesting care as early as possible, especially for house sitting, weekends, holidays, school breaks, and wedding pet attendant services. Availability is limited and reservations are not confirmed until onboarding is complete, payment has been processed, and you receive written confirmation from Barking Beau’s.
-
Yes, holiday pet care may be available, including drop-in visits and house sitting. Holiday availability is limited, and high-demand dates may include additional fees and longer cancellation deadlines. Request holiday care as early as possible and review the applicable terms before confirming your reservation.

House sitting provides overnight pet care in your home, allowing your pets to remain in familiar surroundings while you’re away. -
Yes. We care for dogs, cats, senior pets, and many multiple-pet households. Every care plan is shaped around the pets’ routines, personalities, mobility, medical needs, and comfort levels. We’ll discuss each pet during the meet-and-greet to determine whether we can safely meet the household’s needs and whether additional time or fees are required.
-
We can generally administer routine oral, topical, eye, and ear medications when you provide complete written instructions and the medication can be given safely during the scheduled service. Insulin, injections, controlled medications, seizure rescue medication, subcutaneous fluids, and other specialized care require advance approval. We do not provide veterinary care, and we may decline any procedure that cannot be performed safely.
-
Yes. We provide visit updates through the Time To Pet client portal so you know how your pet is doing. Updates may include completed care tasks, notes about your pet’s behavior or well-being, and photos when appropriate. If we notice a concern that requires prompt attention, we’ll contact you directly.
-
Pet transportation includes safe pickup and drop-off, climate-controlled travel, gentle handling, and pickup and arrival updates. Transportation may be used for veterinary, grooming, daycare, and other approved appointments. Pets are secured using an appropriate carrier, crate, seat-belt restraint, or harness. Appointment accompaniment may be available by advance request for an additional fee.
Payments & Policies
-
After the meet-and-greet, we’ll send an itemized invoice showing your services, dates, prices, and applicable fees. The invoice due date will be no earlier than 24 hours after delivery, giving you time to review it and request corrections. Your reservation is not confirmed until payment is successfully processed and Barking Beau’s provides written confirmation.
