Getting Started & Booking
-
Complete our online Request Pet Care form and tell us about your pets, their routines, and the services you need. Barking Beau’s will review your request, confirm availability, and contact you about the next steps. New clients must complete a meet-and-greet before their first service.
-
Yes. We require a meet-and-greet before caring for any new pet. This gives us an opportunity to meet you and your pets, review their routines and care instructions, discuss home access, and make sure we’re a good fit. Additional meet-and-greets may be required if you add a new pet or your pet’s care needs change significantly.
-
If we agree that Barking Beau’s is the right fit, we’ll finalize your Time To Pet profile and send an itemized invoice for the requested services. You’ll have at least 24 hours to review the invoice and request any corrections. After payment is successfully processed, we’ll confirm your booking in writing.
-
Before services begin, complete your Time To Pet client and pet profiles with current care instructions, feeding details, medications, health and behavior information, veterinary contacts, emergency authorization, and home-access instructions. Please leave all necessary supplies in an easy-to-find location.
-
Pets must remain current on vaccinations required by applicable law, including rabies vaccination when required, unless a licensed veterinarian has documented an exemption. Clients must provide vaccination records or exemption documentation upon request and disclose illnesses, contagious conditions, parasites, recent disease exposure, and other health concerns before services begin.
-
We recommend requesting care as early as possible, especially for House Sitting, Extended Care, weekends, holidays, and school breaks. Availability is limited, and reservations aren't confirmed until onboarding is complete, payment has been processed, and you've received written confirmation from Barking Beau's.
-
Holiday care is available on a limited basis and is subject to service availability, holiday pricing, and extended cancellation deadlines. We recommend requesting holiday care as early as possible.
-
After the meet-and-greet, we’ll send an itemized invoice showing your services, dates, prices, and applicable fees. The invoice due date will be no earlier than 24 hours after delivery, giving you time to review it and request corrections. Your reservation is not confirmed until payment is successfully processed and Barking Beau’s provides written confirmation.
-
Yes. Clients maintain a payment method on file and authorize Barking Beau’s to charge the full invoice balance on or after the due date shown on the invoice. You’ll receive advance notice of the scheduled charge. If you believe an invoice contains an error, notify us in writing before the scheduled charge so we can review it.

If we reasonably believe your pet needs prompt medical attention, we’ll attempt to contact you and your authorized emergency contact and follow the veterinary information and treatment authorization in your Time To Pet profile. When immediate care is necessary, we may transport your pet to the designated veterinarian or an appropriate emergency veterinary hospital and authorize treatment within the permissions you provided. Clients are responsible for veterinary, transportation, medication, and related emergency expenses.
-
We believe exceptional pet care starts with trust, consistency, and relationships. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all visits, we build care around each pet's individual routine, personality, and comfort level. Our goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care that gives pets confidence and gives their families complete peace of mind.
